A very short cookie story
We keep almost nothing — just the few essentials the games need, all on your own device.

This policy explains the small amount of browser storage Amber Field Trail uses. The headline is simple: we use only what's essential to make the platform work, we store it in your own browser, and we use nothing for advertising or tracking.
What we use
Rather than traditional cookies, Amber Field Trail relies on your browser's session storage. These items live on your device, are read only by this site, and are never transmitted to us:
- aft_age_ok — records that you confirmed you're 18 or older, so the age check doesn't appear on every visit.
- aft_cookie_ok — records that you've seen and dismissed the storage notice.
- aft_credits — holds your current virtual-credit balance so it persists as you move between the two games.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies. We show no ads and run no ad networks.
- No analytics or tracking cookies. We don't profile your behaviour across pages or sites.
- No fingerprinting. We make no attempt to identify your device by its characteristics.
- No third-party trackers. Nothing here loads tracking scripts from advertisers or data brokers.
Why session storage
Session storage suits a platform with no accounts. It lets your free balance follow you between Ember Crown Reels and Alpine Card Society during a visit, without us ever creating a profile or holding your data on a server.
How to clear it
You're always in control. Clearing your browser's site data, or simply closing the session, removes these items. You can also use a private or incognito window to start completely fresh each time. The only effect is that your age confirmation and free balance reset — nothing of value is ever lost.
More on privacy
For the bigger picture on how we handle data, see our privacy policy.
In short: three essential items, stored only in your browser, used only to run the games. No advertising, no tracking, no exceptions.
